Canberra-based CIC Technology are leaders in the field of high-grade electronic key security systems in Australia and Asia. Distributors have now been established regionally, worldwide to allow trained personnel to sell and install the CIC range of products. CIC Technology supplies security systems and maintenance services to all sectors with an emphasis in both government departments and large corporations.
CIC Technology markets a range of key security systems which provide improved security, accountability and prevent stock and equipment theft. CIC supplies products designed and manufactured in Australia and the USA, and is the designer, manufacturer and sole distributor of the C.Q.R.iT® range of products worldwide.
Some of CIC Technology’s products have been endorsed for use in the high security governments markets such as the Department of Defence, Department of Finance and Treasury. The Department of Finance, for example, uses one of the CIC products to control and manage Commonwealth cars across Australia.
The Australian Department of Defence uses CIC supplied products across Australia; the majority of Defence sites manage high security keys with CIC products. With the ability to monitor access to keys, restrict access to information and assets and being able to produce audit reports on all activities have been of significant benefit to key security in Defence. Other major government departments follow this security methodology. CIC supplied products that are SCEC endorsed for use in managing and securing keys in government departments.
CIC Technology is also a Research and Development organisation that provides software and hardware development expertise to our range of key security products. The C.Q.R.iT® range of products has been developed within this organisation. Recently the C.Q.R.iT® eXtreme has been added to the portfolio. It is anticipated that this will receive a high security rating in the next 12 months.
CIC continues to have success with the export of the products developed and manufactured in Australia. This has been no accident and is vital for the company’s future growth. CIC has expanded sales of their key security systems into government and industry across Asia. The list of clients throughout Asia is impressive and includes high profile organisations such as Singapore’s Changi Airport and “The Sands” Casino (largest casino in Asia) and Sentosa Resort World Singapore. CIC have now signed up new Distributors in USA, Canada, UK and Malaysia. The list of high profile clients continues to grow and a recent installation included the largest Westfield Shopping Centre at the new Olympic site at Stratford City. This follows on from the excellent feedback on the C.Q.R.iT® product now being used at the WhiteCity site, London.
